BEC Membership
To compete in BEC events the rider will need to be a member of the BEC.
If you would like to compete in graded events you will also need to be registered with SAEF. See the section for SAEF Forms.
CASH PAYMENTS will not be accepted by any committee members.
All payments are to be done online or at the bank.

Requirements To Enter All Shows
Please note the following regulations from SAEA (South African Equestrian Association) which we as a club are bound by when organising shows:
EQUINE FLU: This vaccination must be administered every 6 months. There is a 21 day grace period if horses are overdue on the date of a show. Horses may not be injected with Equine Flu Vac within 7 days before the show
AFRICAN HORSE SICKNESS: This is a yearly vaccination.
In order to comply with the SAEA regulations, both of the vaccinations MUST BE ADMINISTERED BY A VETERINARIAN.

Passport Application Form (SAEF)
Procedure to get a passport for your horse:
- Have a vet fill in the Passport ID Page: Horse Passport ID Page
- Fill in the passport application form: SAEF Passport Application Form
- EFT SAEF R260 (R160 for the passport and R100 for Postnet)
- Send the completed forms and proof of payment to SAEF.
- Once you have received your passport, get your vet to fill in your vaccination details (at least 2 flu vaccinations and 2 years of AHS vaccination details.
- Once all the information has been filled in you can contact Joanna to stamp off your passport (jofaram@gmail.com/ 0823011141)
